A few days ago, a massive leak revealing the camera configuration of Samsung Galaxy S20 series surfaced online. Based on earlier leaks, the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung is shaping to be one of the most powerful series arriving this year. New information from a reputable tipster gives us the prices and the potential release date of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series.

Rumors have it that the upcoming flagship series from Samsung sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G series features 12 GB of RAM, 120 Hz refresh rate, and impressive camera setup. Based on this powerful specs, the flagship series from Samsung will not come cheap.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Prices

Max Weinbach of XDA Developers shares the European prices of the three Samsung Galaxy S20 5G models. The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G retails between 900 and 1,000 euros while the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G retails between 1,050 and 1,100 euros. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G retails between 1,300 euros.

While it is easy to convert the prices to US dollars, it appears that this is not applicable. The tipster claims that the US pricing might be a little less than that of Europe. The US prices could also be lower because of Samsung’s ‘regionalized’ pricing strategy.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G might retail at $850, the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G might retail at $950, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G might retail at $1,200, speculates Weinbach. The 4G variant Samsung Galaxy S20 series might retail at 100 euros lesser than the 5G model, says Weinbach.

The upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung is set to officially unveil on Feb. 11 at the company’s Unpacked event. As for the series’ release date, 9to5Google reports that it would be on Mar. 13. It is worth mentioning that while these details come from legit sources, these are not official.

In this case, we suggest taking this information with a pinch of salt. Expect to see more leaks as the upcoming flagship series of the South Korean tech and electronics giant nears its launch and release date.
