  • A new leak reveals how the Samsung Galaxy S20+ (or S11+) will look like
  • The leaked images show the device with a sticker labeled "confidential"
  • The alleged Galaxy S20+ doesn't look very different from Samsung's current flagships

Samsung's upcoming flagships are some of the favorite topics among leaks and rumors in recent times. Now, a new leak reveals how one of the series' flagships will look like, and also reveal some of its key features.

According to images an anonymous source shared with XDA Developers' Max Weinbach, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ (or Galaxy S11+, as per older reports) will feature a familiar design reminiscent of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10.

The new device will feature a Infinity-O display that's not as curved as on other models released before it. The display, as per the source, feels almost as flat as the one on the Pixel 2 XL, indicating that the Korean tech giant might've opted to use 2.5D glass instead of the curved glass it uses on its recent flagships. This display has very thin bezels on top, the left and right sides, and bottom.

Unlike the Galaxy S10 series of devices, the front-facing camera on the Galaxy S20+ will be placed at the center of the display, sitting inside a circular hole punch that's smaller compared to the one on the Galaxy Note 10 series. The report doesn't reveal the selfie camera's specs.

At the back of the device rests a huge rectangular camera module, at the top-left side. The module houses four different camera lenses, an LED flash and a small hole likely for a microphone. The camera module reveals that the Galaxy S20+ will feature a different setup compared to the top-end model in the S20 series, the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The report said the Galaxy S20+'s camera setup is believed to feature a new 12MP 1.8μm main sensor, as well as an ultra-wide, telephoto, and a “likely” macro lens. Specific details about these sensors remain unknown at the moment.

Previous reports said that the new series will feature major camera upgrades, which might include Samsung's own 108MP sensor, a 5x optical zoom camera, and a 3D Time of Flight sensor. That said, there still no clear picture as to what camera sensors the new device will have.

The Samsung Galaxy S20+ will be the middle of the S20 class, featuring better specs than the Galaxy S20 but not as good as the S20 Ultra. Samsung is expected to release 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+. The Galaxy S20 Ultra, on the other hand, will be a 5G-only model.
