This past weekend fandom of all sorts took over New York City and congregated at the Javits Center for New York Comic Con. We were there with our handy-dandy Samsung Galaxy S4 to capture all of the action.

The Galaxy S4 has been on the market for about six months. Equipped with a 13-megapixel lens, the Galaxy S4 possesses one of the best mobile cameras on the market today. Let’s take a look at how the Galaxy S4 fared at New York Comic Con, having snapped several photos of our favorite parts of the pop culture phenomenon.

Our main quarrel with the Samsung Galaxy S4 camera remains its lack of image stabilization. If the S4 handset is not held perfectly still, images suffer from distortion. The lighting in the venue was not ideal for stellar camera phone images, but we were overall pleased with the outcome. All images were notably taken without flash.
