Samsung Galaxy S6 Massively Discounted By $210, Comes With Warranty
Ahead of the Galaxy S7 launch, predecessor Galaxy S6’s price has been slashed on eBay. The discounted variant, tied to the model number “SM-G920,” is a brand new factory unlocked device.
EBay has listed the 32 GB variant of Samsung Galaxy S6 for just $469.99. The original price of the handset is $679.99. This means, buyers can save $210, which translates to a substantial discount of 31 percent.
Upon ordering the S6, buyers can avail 1-year manufacturer warranty and free shipping service from the retailer. However, the stock is limited and the sale ends in 2 days.
Only the Black Sapphire variant is available on discount and here is the direct link to order the 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S6 from eBay.
As far as the specifications go, the Galaxy S6 comes with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core (Exynos 7420) processor and comes backed by 3 GB of RAM.
On the software front, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop runs the handset. Nevertheless, this device can be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It is worth noting that the Marshmallow update has already been rolled out to S6 devices in South Korea. Hence, it is just a matter of weeks before the handsets in the U.S. start receiving the firmware update.
Camera-wise, there is a good 16-megapixel rear-facing sensor with LED flash and OIS support, in addition to a 5-megapixel selfie-clicker. Other than the 32 GB built-in storage space, this device does not support microSD card to facilitate expansion.
A modest Li-Ion 2,550 mAh non-removable battery unit backs the entire configuration. The Galaxy S6 comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the home button and it supports Samsung Pay mobile payment system.
