Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Massively Discounted By 22%
Towards the beginning of this month, e-retailers were selling the international variant of the new “Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge” with heavy discounts. Now, the same offer is back on eBay, where buyers can avail the GSM unlocked model for just $699.99.
EBay said the original price of 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, tied to the model number SM-G935F, is $899.99. This means, buyers can save a cool 22 percent on a new device. However, it’s worth noting that price of new handsets varies under different carriers and vendors.
The discounted Edge variant is now available in Black, Silver and Gold colors. As an international variant, eBay says, the device bundle might come with a foreign charger. But, in any case, a U.S. adapter will be part of the bundle. Here is the link to order the new 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
Other than the GSM carriers, this Edge model does not work with CDMA carriers like Verizon, Sprint and Boost. Upon ordering the device, free shipping service can be availed. However, this offer is valid only for a limited period and so far, 76 units of the S7 Edge have been sold via eBay.
As far as the key Galaxy S7 Edge specifications go, it comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, aided by 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 protection. This display combination translates to a killer pixel density of 534 ppi.
Even though the retailer has not clearly indicated the chipset that powers the device, both Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 have scored top rankings in benchmark tests. This handset comes backed by 4 GB of RAM. On the software front, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS runs the device, straight out of the box.
Other Galaxy S7 Edge features include a fingerprint scanner, 12-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel selfie-clicker and a non-removable Li-Ion 3,600 mAh battery cell. It is worth noting that, Samsung has brought the microSD card slot back with the S7 series.
