Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus vs. Amazon Kindle Fire
Pre-orders for Amazon’s Kindle Fire has opened, but does the new Samsung Galaxy 7 Plus tablet stand a chance?
Galaxy 7 Plus is running on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with Android 3.2 OS. Once the Kindle Fire rolls around in November, the Samsung Galaxy tablet probably shouldn't expect too much in sales.
The Galaxy Tab 7 Plus is set for release this October in Indonesia and Austria, and European and American launches picking up after that. There isn't any information on the selling price yet, but Samsung is likely going to keep it around the $200-250 range.
Despite the low expectations, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab could be competitive in terms of specs. It has two cameras, the rear-facing 3 megapixel and the front-facing 2-megapixel. It's going to be faster, lighter in weight and thinner in feel too. Other details include 1GB RAM and the 16GB and 32GB storage options.
With such a perfect timing in line with Amazon's Kindle Fire, could this be Samsung's comeback to fill in on what the Kindle Fire may be missing?
