Samsung Is Releasing A Purple Galaxy S20+ And Galaxy Buds+

Samsung has unveiled that it is releasing a new edition of the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ called the BTS Edition. The devices come in a purple color, are placed inside a black and purple box with the band's signature logo and purple iconography.

Samsung said the new Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition is specifically designed to appeal to all fans of the globally popular group. It features pre-installed themes especially made to show the BTS fan in every user, and also comes with a fan community platform called Weverse installed in the device.

The handset also comes with decorative stickers so that fans can further personalize their device to their liking. The box also includes some photo cards, featuring the band members, so that fans can always keep them handy. These, of course, do not enhance or degrade the device's performance – they are simply ways to make BTS's fans happy.

Samsung said the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition features the same “pro-grade camera” that all Galaxy S20+ users know of. This will allow fans to take photos and videos, then share them with other BTS fans in the Weverse community.

Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition

The Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition is basically the Galaxy Buds+ in purple. It has been tuned by AKG, and also promises to deliver the same signature sound, battery life, performance, and sleek look as that of the regular Galaxy Buds+, but in a different color.

Those who get the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition will also get photo cards of the band right in the box, as a “keepsafe for fans,” Samsung said.

“Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition are the result of a collaboration between BTS, whose members spread messages of love and harmony through music, and Samsung, which is creating a better future with meaningful innovation,” Stephanie Choi, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Marketing Team of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics, said in a press release.

The Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition will be available for preorder on Samsung.com from June 19 to July 8. Those who preorder the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition can get a 50% discount on the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition and a BTS poster for free.
