Most of the first-round series in the 2019 NBA playoffs provided some excitement but were over in five games or fewer. The series between the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets has been just the opposite with a bunch of one-sided affairs that have led to a winner-take-all contest.

The Spurs and Nuggets are scheduled to meet in the first—and probably only—Game 7 of this postseason’s first round. The winner will go on to face the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference semifinals.

Denver's Pepsi Center will host Game 7 Saturday night with a start time of 10 p.m. EDT. TNT will have the TV broadcast, and viewers can watch a live stream online at tntdrama.com/watchtnt.

The Nuggets were favored to win the series from the start as the No.2 seed, though the No.7 seed Spurs were given a better chance to pull off an upset than most underdogs in the first round. Denver had the better regular-season record, while San Antonio boasted much more playoff experience.

San Antonio stole the first game in Denver. The Nuggets went on to win three of the next four contests. The Spurs avoided elimination Thursday night with a 120-103 victory at home in Game 6.

No matter which team prevails Saturday night, the Blazers have a good chance to be favored in the upcoming series. The Nuggets would have home-court advantage. The Spurs would start the second round in Portland.
