In a worldwide launch, six new Xacti camcorders were announced with prices ranging from $199.99 to $599.99. SANYO Fisher Company, a division of SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO), Tuesday afternoon, has already detailed the US plans for its 2009 Xacti camcorders. Sanyo is actually calling these models Dual Cameras to highlight their improved still-image capabilities.

Dual Camera Xactis record photos and videos to SD/SDHC media cards (sold separately) and are thumb-operable for key functions, with separate video and photo buttons for easy switching between shooting video and photos.
