Sarah Ferguson Honors Beatrice, Eugenie By Wearing This At Royal Wedding
Sarah Ferguson paid tribute to her two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, while at the latter’s royal wedding on Oct. 12.
A close-up photo of the Duchess of York showed her wearing a stunning gold bracelet with her daughters’ names written on it in diamonds. Ferguson wore the bracelet on her right wrist while at her youngest daughter’s nuptials at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
On one side of the bracelet, Eugenie’s name is spelled out in capital letters. On the other side of the accessory, Beatrice’s name is also spelled out in the same font of size.
According to People, Princess Eugenie’s wedding wasn’t the first time that Ferguson wore the bracelet. In fact, the doting mom has been wearing it since 2004 when she attended Queen’s Cup polo match. Ferguson wore the bracelet again during a summer garden party in 2009 and in 2012.
Ferguson also honored her late mother, Susan Barrantes, during Princess Eugenie’s special day by using the same nude Manolo Blahnik clutch that Barrantes brought to Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s wedding in 1986.
In related news, Ferguson also made headlines this week after royal fans urged her to get back together with Prince Andrew. The couple sat beside each other while at their daughter’s wedding ceremony, but they didn’t show any signs of affection.
However, royal fans couldn’t help but notice how adorable the ex-couple looked in Princess Eugenie’s official wedding portrait. Even though they didn’t stand very closely beside each other, Ferguson and Prince Andrew both looked happy.
But Amy Jones and Emily Andrews, journalists for The Sun, said that it is unlikely for Prince Andrew and Ferguson to get back together. In fact, she just ignited rumors of a possible royal feud.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator, said, “By failing to acknowledge Harry and Meghan’s happy news, she’s given credence to the rumors of a royal rift. When you don’t congratulate them, of course, it’s going to draw attention. It’s tactless. But unfortunately, the Duchess of York has always had a lack of tact.”
