Sarah Ferguson is being linked to a 29-year-old man named Peregrine Kitchener-Fellowes. And there are rumors that she could be stealing Princess Beatrice’s wedding thunder when she steps out her “boy toy” in public.

According to New Idea, it seems that the Duke of York has set her sights on the son of “Downton Abbey” creator, Julian Fellowes. An insider told the tabloid that Peri, as what Fergie calls him, attended the duchess’ 60th birthday party in October.

“She’d met him on a few occasions, but after the drinks started flowing at her birthday bash, Peri made a play for her and was incredibly complimentary, telling her how young she looked for her age and boosting her confidence,” the insider said.

Peri reportedly served as Ferguson’s rock amid Prince Andrew’s sex abuse scandal, and the two have grown closer in recent weeks. The insider said that the Duchess of York tried to keep their blossoming relationship as low-key as possible but she is now ready to return to the spotlight.

“They kept it quiet for as long as they could, knowing the uproar it would create with both their families – potentially destroying [Sarah’s] long-term friendship with Julian too – but they have got to the point where they’re sick of hiding it and just want to enjoy the friendship without feeling guilty,” the source said.

However, there has been no evidence proving that Ferguson is dating the younger man or that she is planning to go public with their rumored relationship.

Meanwhile, Fergie and Prince Andrew’s relationship has reportedly become strained. Even though the former couple was photographed in public recently, they both seemed tense as they left the Windsor House.

The Duke and Duchess of York have been divorced since 1996, but some royal experts are convinced that there’s hope for them to get back together. However, a source close to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s parents told Vanity Fair that they are just best friends.

Prince Andrew and Fergie’s friend added that the idea of the two having some hot romance is unlikely.
