Sarah Ferguson Wears Red During Mark’s Club Outing In Mayfair
Sarah Ferguson recently took a break from helping out with Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding by going on a night out with her friends.
The Duchess of York was photographed in a red ensemble while at the private member’s lounge Mark’s Club in Mayfair. According to the Daily Mail, the exclusive country-house style club is a favorite among A-listers, royals, and socialites.
Ferguson paired her red blazer with her black dress and pumps. The mom of two also let her red hair down, and she only wore minimal makeup. Ferguson also accessorized with a gold pendant necklace and coordinated earrings.
In related news, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife made headlines recently after it was reported that she has multiple roles at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding on Oct. 12.
Emily Hodgkin, a journalist for Express, said that Ferguson might have been hands-on when it came to Princess Eugenie’s guest list, wedding dress, and more. But her biggest role will be to sit in the front row of St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle with other members of the royal family.
Ferguson and Prince Andrew are also teaming up to organize their daughter’s wedding reception at the Royal Lodge. While there, the ex-couple is also expected to dance with each other.
As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Prince Philip will attend Princess Eugenie’s wedding. Katie Nicholl, a royal expert, previously told Vanity Fair that Prince Philip cannot stand to be in the same room as Ferguson. This is one of the reasons why Ferguson didn’t sit in the front row at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials on May 19.
“Sarah is being very hands-on, but in a great way, and Eugenie wants her mom to be a big part of it all and will make sure Sarah is included in every aspect. Her feeling is the other royals will have to get on with it,” she said (via Express).
However, since it is Ferguson’s daughter that will tie the knot in October, Prince Philip has to deal with the fact that his son’s ex-wife will be front and center at the chapel. According to People, Prince Philip might make a decision on whether he will attend or skip his granddaughter’s big day at the 99th hour.
