KEY POINTS
- Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth were spotted rehearsing a scene on the set of the "Sex and the City" revival

- A leaked script suggested that Carrie and Mr. Big are getting divorced or have already split in the upcoming reboot
Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth have reunited on the set of the "Sex and the City" revival, "And Just Like That."
On Monday, Parker and Noth were in character as Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big, a.k.a. John James Preston, on the New York City set of HBO Max's "Sex and the City" sequel series.
In photos obtained by Page Six, Parker, 56, looked chic in a formfitting boatneck blouse, floor-length polka-dot skirt and jewel-encrusted stilettos. She paired her outfit with a stylish fascinator, chain-link bracelet and black handbag with a gold clasp. Meanwhile, Noth, 66, looked dapper in his black suit and blue tie.
The co-stars appeared to be in the middle of rehearsing a scene. Page Six noted that they didn't look too thrilled with each other in the scene, which may be related to rumors that their characters are getting divorced in the upcoming revival. Noth was not wearing a wedding band while in costume as Mr. Big, the report said.
In the leaked script of the forthcoming reboot obtained by Page Six earlier this month, Carrie dines out with her BFFs Stanford Blatch (Willie Garson), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and reveals that she is not in a good place.
"I was taping the podcast, I was washing my hair. Yes, I wasn’t eating or sleeping, but at least I felt good about my marriage. Now I’m just one of the wives he was taking care of?" Carrie says.
Mr. Big was married twice before Carrie — to book publisher Barbara (Noelle Beck) and Natasha Naginsky (Bridget Moynahan).
Carrie and Mr. Big finally tied the knot at the end of the first "Sex and the City" movie. However, in the sequel, they struggled in their marriage, and Carrie had a romantic liaison with ex-fiancé Aidan Shaw (John Corbett).
Meanwhile, HBO Max released in June the first official photo of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte back together again, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Parker, Davis and Hobbes have also been dropping teasers and updates about the upcoming show on their social media accounts.
"Anything is possible....Meet you there!" Davis posted on Instagram in January alongside a teaser video for "And Just Like That."
Meanwhile, Parker shared photos of her shooting must-haves, with one snap showing the script of the first episode.
However, Kim Cattrall, who played their BFF Samantha Jones, will not be reprising her role. The series will focus on Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte "as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s," according to Deadline.
HBO's president of programming Casey Bloys seemingly addressed Cattrall's absence from the show, saying that "just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave."
"Friendships fade, and new friendships start. So I think it is all very indicative of the real stages, the actual stages of life," Bloys added.
The release date of the 10-episode revival remains unknown, but filming began last month.
