Sarah Jessica Parker returned to the red carpet Oct. 4 for the series premiere of her new HBO show "Divorce" at the SVA Theater New York City. ​In the dark comedy series, Parker stars as Frances, a woman trying to make a fresh start following a divorce from her husband, played by Thomas Haden Church.

Never one to blend in, the style icon donned a Dolce & Gabbana purple layered lace tea length dress with 3/4 length sleeves and a dazzling jewel embellished bodice. Appropriately, the former "Sex And The City" star slipped on a pair of satin pumps from her own SJP Collection.

Speaking of "Sex And The City," Parker had a glamorous reunion at the premiere that would make Carrie Bradshaw raise her cosmopolitan. The actress was spotted embracing fellow "SATC" alums Cynthia Nixon and Mario Cantone.
