Sarah Paulson Finally Reacts To Adele Lookalike Comparisons: 'I'll Take It'

Sarah Paulson has responded to fans saying she looks exactly like Adele.

The “American Horror Story” actress is apparently aware of how people are connoting the uncanny resemblance between her and the Grammy-winning songstress. During her interview with SiriusXM's "EW Live" on Wednesday (May 13), Paulson, 45, acknowledged that she saw a few messages regarding the fans’ claims after Adele revealed her new look via an Instagram photo on her birthday.

"I was on Twitter and I just happened to be scrolling through and it said Sarah Paulson is trending," the actress recalled. "I was like, 'Wait, what? Did I die? What happened?'"

Although the similarity between both stars has long been claimed, fans and onlookers only came in droves and took to social media to express what they thought about the comparison.

“Adele looks so much like sarah paulson now. like what,” a user wrote on Twitter early May.

“Adele looks dope always, but her new resemblance to Sarah Paulson is insane,” another user posted.

Upon realizing that it was the “Adele thing again,” Paulson finally shared what she had to say about these claims. The actress obviously took them as a compliment and felt very flattered by the comparison. "Listen, I'll take it," the 45-year-old actress said.

"I mean, what I wish they were comparing was my talent to her talent and saying that mine was as great as hers, which quite honestly they can't say because no one's talent is as great as hers, which is really irritating,” Paulson jested light-heartedly.

“But I'll take looking like her,” she added. “Man, she's a beauty. So, sure. Great. Give it to me. I'll take it."

Despite looking so much alike as fans keep pointing out, both stars can outrightly be distinguished, talent and career-wise. Adele, known as a pop icon and songbird, has captured people across the globe with her music. The British songstress has since then skyrocketed her fame into critical and commercial success.

And while she hasn't exactly been on the limelight these days, Adele has remained as one of the most popular artists of her generation, widely renowned for her traditionally crafted songs and soulfully emotive voice.
