KEY POINTS
- WWE fans continue to be hopeful in Sasha Banks' return to the company
- Banks hints at something big happening this November
- Fans speculate that she could be returning to WWE at the Survivor Series pay-per-view
WWE fans have been eagerly waiting for the return of Sasha Banks, and their patience could be rewarded when it does happen after she seemingly teased it on her social media.
"As time passes, there has been so much growth, there's been so much beautiful opportunity, and a journey that I've been loving, but as time passes, the date is coming that I have been waiting for, for the past six months, and I can't wait," Banks said via her Instagram stories.
"I am really gonna make the most of this November to make all my dreams happen in preparation for this date that I've been waiting for. I'm very excited, and I hope you guys come along for this journey. I just want to let you know there's going to be something so [expletive] crazy coming."
Banks did not say anything else as to what that something is, but it was enough to tickle the imagination of pro wrestling fans on social media.
Some were convinced that Banks was going to join rival pro wrestling company All Elite Wrestling (AEW), but WWE fans were quick to point out that she is still under contract.
Banks has not been seen on WWE programming since May, which makes her absence from the company at exactly six months on November 16.
However, there is hope that she and tag team partner Naomi will return soon.
Eagle-eyed WWE fans were able to notice that Banks and Naomi were again featured on the company's "Then. Now. Forever."
Intro promo to open this past weekend's Crown Jewel pay-per-view for the first time since they left the promotion due to their displeasure with their booking.
The pair were originally scheduled to appear at the 2022 Vulture Festival, a non-wrestling event, this weekend, but they later pulled out of the event due to an "unforeseen scheduling conflict."
With so many fans still hoping to see Banks and Naomi back on WWE TV, most fans are pegging the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames event to be their return, which is happening on November 26.
Fans are expecting a men's and women's WarGames match at the event to make the most out of the stipulation and having the two women appear at the event will make it a cannot-miss pay-per-view.
Previous reports noted that Banks' return is still very much possible, but the rumored complications of it all could have her back by January or February of next year.
The SmackDown women's roster desperately needs an infusion of talent and having Banks and Naomi back will do wonders for that group.
Despite being nowhere near WWE since May, Banks' star power is still enough to generate reactions from the crowd and the organization is doing its best to make things happen sooner rather than later.
