‘Scandal’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 4 To Unveil Shocking Detail About Frankie’s Assassination
“Scandal” Season 6, episode 4 will unveil shocking new information about the night of Frankie Vargas’ (Ricardo Chavira) assassination.
In the previous episode, titled “Fates Worse Than Death,” it was revealed that Tom (Brian Letscher) may have something to do with Frankie’s demise, but only because Cyrus (Jeff Perry) instructed him to do so. In a flashback, Cyrus expressed his concern over Frankie’s closeness to the young graduate from Harvard, Jennifer Fields. Even though Cyrus did not deliberately ask Tom to get rid of Jennifer, his ex-lover decided to take matters into his own hands. But instead of getting rid of Jennifer, Tom got rid of Frankie.
However, despite Tom’s revelation that he was the one responsible for killing Frankie, he still did not end up in jail. Cyrus is behind bars, and Tom decided to not tell anyone about what he did. Cyrus being convicted for murder could be a huge cause for concern since President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) previously endorsed him to become the next president of the country. Now that their agreement is off the table, Mellie (Bellamy Young) could have another chance at the White House.
But even though he is behind bars, Cyrus will still try to reach out to his connections in order to prove his innocence. Previously, he agreed to hire Elizabeth (Portia de Rossi) to become his chief of staff, so Lizzie will play an integral role in proving that Cyrus wasn’t really the one who shot Frankie.
Meanwhile, the shocking information that will be released about Frankie’s death could change the direction of the show. In “The Belt” Olivia (Kerry Washington) and the Gladiators will be the first ones to know the truth so they would have to decide whether or not they would keep the information to themselves.
“Scandal” Season 6, episode 4 will air on ABC on Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
