Bandai Namco's "Scarlet Nexus" features a unique skill tree called the Brain Map. Players should unlock the best Yuito and Kasane skills early on in the game if they want to stand out from the rest.

For "Scarlet Nexus" players still having a hard time identifying the best Yuito and Kasane skills, this guide may come in handy.

Yuito starts as a hack and slash character, so players should go for Power Up and Attack Up 2, which costs three BP each. The former will raise Yuito's Psychokinesis attack damage by 5%, while the latter boosts the character's weapon attack damage by 5%. Players should also get the Brain Crush Change Expand for four BP to increase the time opponents are disabled after they had their Crush Gauge depleted.

Another skill that players should unlock early on in "Scarlet Nexus" is the Concurrent SAS Activation. This enables them to use a couple of SAS skills at the same time and it only costs four BP. Yuito players should also consider getting the Double Jump. While it has really no use in combats, players should still purchase it to unlock many secret items in "Scarlet Nexus."

Kasane, on the other hand, is more of a mid-range fighter and has some survivability issues. Because of this, "Scarlet Nexus" players should unlock Brain Crush SAS Restore early on in the game. It costs three BP and it helps restore the SAS gauge after the player uses Brain Crush while the SAS is active.

Another skill recommended for Kasane players is the Psychokinesis Crush Effect Up 1. It will help them drain the enemy's Crush Gauge using Psychokinesis attacks. Moreover, players should unlock Shorten Item Usage Cooldown, which costs four BP. As the name indicates, this skill reduces the cooldown whenever players use items.

They can also choose Brain Crush Money Bonus for Kasane. This increases the money gained from utilizing Brain Crush.

More importantly, players should choose Attack Up to boost weapon attack damage by 5%. Kasane, like Yuito players, should also get the Double Jump skill from the Brain Map to unlock secret items in "Scarlet Nexus."
