‘Scorpion’ Season 4 Casts Shantel VanSanten As [SPOILER] Ex-Fiancée Amy Berkstead
“Scorpion” Season 4 just cast actress Shantel VanSanten as Amy Berkstead.
The character will recur in the upcoming episodes of the hit CBS series. According to TV Line, Amy was Toby’s (Eddie Kaye Thomas) fiancée, and her arrival will pose a threat to his and Happy’s (Jadyn Wong) marriage.
Toby and Amy first met while at Harvard Medical School. The brilliant geneticist was the one who called off her engagement to Toby due to his gambling addiction and immature ways. But Amy still has an effect on Toby that Happy will not be very happy about.
Amy will first be seen in Season 4, episode 13 of “Scorpion.” And to add more insult to injury, the character is now married to pop-psychologist Quincy Berkstead (Jeff Galfer), Toby’s nemesis.
Meanwhile, “Scorpion” Season 4 is headed to its fourth episode next week. “Crime Every Mountain” will see Team Scorpion, led by Cabe (Robert Patrick), helping a father and his daughter when their plane crashes nearby. However, things will not go as planned.
Elsewhere in the episode, Paige (Katharine McPhee) will help her boyfriend, Walter (Elyes Gabel), navigate his feelings with regards to Cabe potentially heading to prison in the near future.
This week, Team Scorpion welcomed their neighbor, Florence (Tina Marjorina), and allowed her to help them on their task at sea. “It’s Raining Men (Of War)” saw Toby, Happy, Paige, Walter, Cabe and Sylvester (Ari Stidham) destroying a floating island of trash.
Unfortunately, Florence wasn’t trained for the job on the hand. So her wrong decisions left her, Walter and Happy stranded on the quickly dissolving island. Luckily, the other members of the team managed to get them out before time ran out.
Elsewhere in episode 9, Toby and Cabe teamed up to gather information about the former’s dad’s death. Toby has no idea what happened to his late dad since he passed away while he was still very young.
“Scorpion” Season 4 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
