Scott Disick allegedly asked a small business to provide him with a private jet for an appearance and then bailed on the event at the last minute, a report says.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, 38, was supposed to make a personal appearance at a party at Gaffney’s, a midsize bar and restaurant in Saratoga Springs, New York, Friday night, Page Six reported, citing unnamed sources.
Disick allegedly called the restaurant a day before the event to ask if they had a "spare plane" that could ferry him there from the Hamptons.
The small-town restaurant did not have an initial plane, much less a spare one. But the Gaffney's team scrambled to accommodate Disick — only to have his team call back and say they found their own ride, sources told Page Six.
On the day of the event, Disick's team called the eatery once more and asked for a helicopter to bring him the 150 miles or so to the town where the restaurant was located. The Gaffney's staff once again tried to make arrangements according to the reality star's request but were later told by Disick's team that they had already found a helicopter.
However, Disick's camp called one more time to inform the establishment that their chopper had fallen through and that the reality star would not be able to make it to the event after all, according to the report.
As a result, the restaurant was forced to refund their customers, who made their reservations under the assumption that Disick would be at the restaurant. Owners of the restaurant are now considering taking legal action against the reality star to recoup the losses, Page Six reported.
Disick's Friday appearance was intended to be a make-up event after he bailed on the restaurant the previous week.
Page Six reached out to Disick's team for comment but has yet to receive a response.
Meanwhile, Disick seemed to be enjoying his summer getaway with his girlfriend Amelia Gray Hamlin and his 9-year-old daughter, Penelope Scotland, whom he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian. He shared snaps of them on Instagram Saturday.
In one photo, he and Hamlin cozied up while lounging on a speedboat. "Hermès only to swim," he wrote in the caption. She responded with a heart and fire emoji.
Disick also posted a snap of his daughter Penelope eating while in a pool. "Little lunch in the pool with pinop," he wrote in the caption.
Disick also shares two sons with Kardashian, 11-year-old Mason and 6-year-old Reign.
