The American Idol finale was last night, and not only did Scotty McCreery win the Season 10 spot, but Beyonce stopped by the show to perform her new single, 'One Plus One.'

The ballad was the second official single off her album to be released, and it's quite the contrast compared to her stomping 'Run the World (Girls) hit.

Beyonce was accompanied by red smoke and a white grand piano as she belted lyrics make love to me in an emotionally-charged performance.

And The Winner Is

17-year-old Scotty McCreery was announced the winner of season ten in last night's episode. Both Scotty and runner-up, Lauren Alaina stated that they thought the other would win. Lauren told reporters I knew Scotty was going to win.

I knew he was going to in my heart. I accepted it. I couldn't pick a more perfect person to get second place to . . .. He's my best friend.

More than 122 million votes were cast for the two finalists -- the largest ever in the show's history, reported Fox.
