The latest downloadable content expansion for survival horror game, “Dead by Daylight,” brings another legendary movie villain to life.

Ghost Face from Wes Craven’s “Scream” franchise has finally come to “Dead by Daylight.” Behaviour Interactive recently released a trailer highlighting the perks of the newest addition to the roster. You can watch the trailer below:

Ghost Face’s primary power is called ‘Night Shroud.’ The perk is described as follows: “When the power gauge is full, Night Shroud can be activated, completely hiding his terror radius. When active, Ghost Face can lean around corners and stalk Survivors. Stalking a Survivor for a short time will leave them exposed. Attacking or being detected by Survivors will deplete the power gauge and end Night Shroud.”

Ghost Face also comes with three perks: ‘I’m All Ears,’ ‘Thrilling Tremors,’ and ‘Furtive Chase.’ I’m All Ears allows the killer to see a survivor’s aura temporarily, even when they’re outside his terror zone, as long as they’ve done a rushed action. Thrilling Tremors is activated when Ghost Face picks up a downed survivor. Then, all generators currently not being repaired by survivors are blocked off by vine-like things known as the Entity. And Furtive Chase has the killer become obsessed with one target and the perk receives a token when the obsession has been put up on a hook. If another survivor rescues the obsession, they then become the new obsession for the killer.

Ghost Face’s appearance in “Dead by Daylight” is not the first time that a licensed character was used by Behaviour Interactive and added as a DLC. Previous additions have included “Left 4 Dead’s” William “Bill” Overbeck, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s” Leatherface, “A Nightmare on Elm Street’s” Freddie Kreuger and Quentin Smith, “Halloween’s” Michael Myers and Laurie Strode, and “Saw’s” Jigsaw pig costume and David Tapp.

“Dead by Daylight” was released in June 2016 on Windows and received generally positive reviews before it got ported to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the following June. “Dead by Daylight” is also coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime this fall.

Fans of the “Scream” franchise can now play their favorite antagonist, Ghost Face, in “Dead by Daylight” and hunt down unsuspecting victims. Fans can also ask their victims: “What’s your favorite scary movie?” if they so desire.
