‘Scream Queens’ Actress Jamie Lee Curtis Shares #WhenWeWereYoungWednesday Instagram Photo, Takes Cue From Co-Star Colton Haynes
It looks like “Scream Queens” star Jamie Lee Curtis is learning the ropes of social media with a little help from her young colleagues.
On Wednesday, Sept. 7, the 57-year-old actress took to Instagram to post her first ever #WhenWeWereYoungWednesday photo after seeing her co-star Colton Haynes share one of his own on the social networking site.
“Apparently it’s a thing. Is there really a hashtag for all the days of the week? You youngins amaze me,” she wrote, alongside a black and white throwback photo of herself from what appeared to be a magazine shoot.
“I saw that @coltonlhaynes posted one so I do as I am told! #whenwewereyoungwednesday @screamqueensfox,” added the two-time Golden Globe-winning actress, who is reprising her role as Cathy Munsch in Season 2 of “Scream Queens.”
As for Haynes’ post, the 28-year-old actor shared a grayscale close-up portrait of himself, which he captioned: “#WhenWeWereYoungWednesday lol.”
As revealed at the “Scream Queens” San Diego Comic-Con panel last July, Haynes — who is best known for his role as Roy Harper/Arsenal on The CW’s “Arrow” — will guest star in Season 2 of the FOX series
According to a press release obtained by Spoiler TV last Sept. 4, Haynes will make his series debut in Episode 2 of the upcoming installment. He will be introduced as new patient of the hospital owned and run by Munsch. With a “hideous” illness, Haynes’ character visits the hospital in hope of a cure, but finds a love interest instead.
In an Instagram post Haynes shared three weeks ago, the “Teen Wolf” alum briefly talked about his time on the set of the comedy-horror show and gave Curtis a special shoutout.
“I am having such an amazing time on this show with ppl who are too talented for their own good!!!” Haynes captioned a photo of himself hanging out with “Scream Queens” stars Emma Roberts (Chanel), Billie Lourd (Chanel #3) and Abigail Breslin (Chanel #5) on the set of the show. “Jamie is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met & has embraced me like I’m her own son.”
“Scream Queens” Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m. on FOX.
