‘Scream’ TV Series Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 7 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Let The Right One In’?
Be careful of who you befriend in Lakewood.
Episode 6 of MTV’s “Scream” ended on a bit of a jawdropper as Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) confessed her involvement with Piper (Amelia Rose Blaire) to Noah (John Karna). But that wasn’t the shocking part. Noah’s microphone was on, recording everything they were saying for his podcast, “The Morgue.”
The promo video for episode 7, titled “Let The Right One In,” reveals that Zoe ( Kiana Ledé) was listening in on the podcast. But what will Zoe do with this knowledge about Audrey? The synopsis for next week’s installment only teases that Noah’s relationship with Zoe will “escalate.” However, the episode title might actually shed more light.
As viewers already know, every episode of “Scream” Season 2 is named after a scary movie. “Let The Right One In” is a critically acclaimed 2008 Swedish horror film about Oskar, a 12-year-old boy who unknowingly befriends a young vampire girl named Eli. The two develop a strong bond, with Eli coming to Oskar’s rescue when he needs her the most. In the end Oskar runs off with Eli to protect her and help her get her hands on blood.
Could Zoe be developing a similar relationship with Noah? And is she somehow involved in the recent deaths?
Meanwhile, fans of the TV series can’t forget about that big reveal regarding Emma (Willa Fitzgerald). Sheriff Acosta (Anthony Ruivivar) found out that the emails that Emma’s father was getting from a dead girl actually came from Emma’s IP address. Is the teen really the victim? Or is she actually the one terrorizing the town?
“This is about Emma,” Sheriff Acosta says to Maggie (Tracy Middendorf) in another clip, the camera focusing on a photo of Emma as a child. “We both know it could be our own fault.”
It’s unclear what they are talking about, but there is plenty of reason to worry about Emma. Her and Kieran (Amadeus Serafini) have developed some serious trust issues, and Emma will go out with Eli (Sean Grandillo) to take her mind off things. Eli’s motives are still unclear, but viewers should assume that he — and his mom Tina (Karina Logue) — are up to no good.
Finally, look forward to biting your nails again because a couple more lives will be in danger in episode 7. The killer will lure both Brooke (Carlson Young) and Audrey into a trap.
“Scream” Season 2, episode 7 will air on MTV on Tuesday, July 12 at 10 p.m. EDT.
