‘Scream’ TV Series Spoilers: Episode 7 Promo Teases Killer's New Game; What Will Happen In ‘In The Trenches’?
The killer will be taking Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) through a new game on episode 7 of "Scream." MTV's promo video for "In The Trenches" shows the group trying to save a friend from becoming the mysterious killer's fifth victim.
The synopsis for the episode is brief, but the promo reveals that Emma and company will be on the hunt to find Will (Connor Weil), who was stabbed and dragged away by the killer at the end of episode 6. Podcaster Piper (Amelia Rose Blaire) was also hurt at the end of the episode after being knocked over and hit on the head with a cement block.
In the teaser Emma receives a phone call from who she thinks is Will, but instead she hears the familiar voice of the killer who says, “Hello Emma, missing something?” It is then revealed the killer has decided to put them all through his own version of hide-and-seek.
The group is shown wandering through some sort of abandoned building, which Noah (John Karna) suggests “isn’t a happy place.” The killer has already made the group search through an abandoned hospital in episode 4, where they discovered clues about Brandon James.
The promo also makes it look like Brooke (Carlson Young) could potentially be the next victim as she is seen screaming and running after she says in a voiceover, “I have a feeling something bad is going to happen." In episode 6, Brooke was still looking for answers after seeing a video of her father, Mayor Maddox (Bryan Batt), pulling what appears to be a body out of the trunk of his car.
It also appears Noah will be going up against the killer in episode 6. The teaser shows him facing off against the villain in the Brandon James mask by trying to hold the door closed so the killer can’t get to them. Will Noah be able to hold off the killer or will he become another victim?
Watch the promo for episode 7 below:
Will Emma be able to find Will before it’s too late? Did Piper survive the attack or was she also taken with Will? Will more evidence emerge as to who the killer could be? Fans will have to wait and find out. “Scream” airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. EDT on MTV.
