Game developer Rare has rolled out the third season of "Sea of Thieves" called A Pirate's Life. For those wondering how and where to start with this new content, this guide contains tips and tricks that can be helpful, especially for those having a hard time finding the in-game starting point.
Players need to start the "Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life" on the Castaway's Camp, which is a new location available in any Outpost. From there, they need to locate the Castaway. It is an enigmatic figure with barnacles and speaks a cryptic language. Players can find it near the dock of any Outpost, covered in a piece of green cloth with a wooden shack.
Players will automatically activate the Tall Tales at the shack but they can also talk to the Castaway for some setup. After that, players need to locate the five books on the wall, with each representing a different Tall Tale. For the first tale, players can start at the farthest left. Each of the Tall Tales is locked and only unlocks when players complete the previous tale.
The tales in "Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life" begin with A Pirate’s Life, followed by The Sunken Pearl, Captains of the Damned, Dark Brethren and Lords of the Sea. Just like any Tall Tale, players must go to their desired book and tap the action button to start the tale. Solo players only need to vote for themselves to trigger the quest.
For two or more crews, the majority of the vote will activate it. After that, players should check their Quests inventory to begin. Another way to start the "Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life" is by going straight to the Castaway's Camp from the main menu.
After the start screen, players need to hit Play, go to Choose Your Experience and select A Pirate's Life. They also need to choose the size of their crew and invite other players to join them if necessary. Once players have set their desired settings, they should hit Set Sail and they will spawn in front of the Castaway's Camp at a random in-game Outpost.
The "Sea Of Thieves: A Pirate's Life" is a free update so players need no go through any online storefronts to avail of it. Players just need to launch the game and update it to embark on the game's new journey. Check out the latest trailer of the game below.
