Sean Kingston, 21, a Jamaican American singer, crashed his jet ski into a bridge. He has been sent to the Memorial hospital on late Sunday in Miami. (6pm local time)

Kingston has been transferred from the trauma unit to the intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The reason of the crash still not known. However, there was no indication of alcohol involved.

There was one other female passenger in the boat when the accident happened.

The jetski that Kingston was riding so severely damaged it had to be towed away.

His condition was initially described as critical by doctors. However, he is now recovering and to be in a stable condition after undergoing treatment.

Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna have tweeted that they are praying for his recovery during the day. Sean's rep said Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time, to TMZ.

Kingston is well known for his 2007 hit Beautiful Girls, lately worked together with Justin Bieber for Eenie Meeni.
