Sean Paul revealed he "lost millions" amid the COVID-19 pandemic because he couldn't go on a tour, according to a Page Six report.

The 48-year-old Jamaican rapper told the outlet that on March 8, 2020, he arrived in New Zealand with musician Shaggy, whose real name is Orville Richard Burrell CD, after finishing a tour. The "It Wasn't Me" singer reportedly laughed at him for wearing a mask on the plane.

Paul went on to share how Shaggy called him out for using Lysol and wiping down surfaces, asking him, "What are you doing yo bro? You making the plane smell like a hospital right now."

To this, he reportedly replied, "Yo bro I got asthma."

The rapper then said his live events were eventually canceled, due to which he "lost a lot of money." He further explained he used to travel for more than six months in a year and used to earn millions just by touring. However, according to him, he has also been spending on "charities."

Despite the challenges he has faced since the pandemic began, the "Dancing on Dangerous" star acknowledged the importance of taking a break.

"With everything, there is a silver lining," he added. "So I have enjoyed the family time, and I have enjoyed the extra studio time that I’ve been given."

Paul, who took to Twitter Tuesday to share a photo of him working in a studio, also admitted during the interview that his family sometimes gets on his nerves, and to cope with that, he goes out and "get a spliff or a Heineken."

He also revealed what he found annoying about his kids and wife.

"The most annoying part is when the kids wanna go out and play, and you’re not into that vibe… it's like, 'Just go out and play,' or, 'Just play a video game it [is] too hot outside.' With my wife, the extra conversations can be annoying," he said.

The rapper concluded the conversation by saying he needs some "quiet time" to talk to God and himself.

Paul married Jodi Stewart in 2012. The couple has two kids together — Remi Leigh Henriques and Levi Blaze.

On the work front, Paul was last featured in the music video "Go Down Deh," which was released on May 1.
