Search For Janice Klein, Missing Plano Mom, Mobilizes Community
The search for Janice Klein, a missing mother and wife from Plano, Texas has mobilized the local community after the police reached out to the public for help to find her.
Klein, missing since last Friday afternoon, was last seen telling her 20-year-old daughter she was going to her home's backyard, according to WFAA TV, a local ABC-affiliate. When her husband and son arrived homed a few hours later, they realized she was missing.
On Saturday, more than 400 volunteers, including her son's Boy Scout troop and members of her church, searched for her and handed out fliers across the Plano area.
Some of the search efforts focused on a location near a Williams-Sonoma store more than 3 miles from her home, where the manager told the police that a woman matching her description was seen on Friday afternoon, reported WFAA TV.
The manager reportedly claimed that Klein came in the store, appeared normal and did not buy anything, according to CBS DFW.
On Sunday, 600 volunteers joined efforts to find her, according to myFOXdfw.
So far, police do not suspect foul play. However, they think she may have become disoriented as her family claims she has been suffering from stomach pain and headaches, reported WFAA TV.
To help with search efforts, her family has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to her return and set up a Facebook page to help find her.
Many people are also using Twitter to organize search efforts.

Klein is 5'5, 145 lbs, has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a green shirt and gray pants, according to WFAA TV.
