Seattle Seahawks Offer Terrell Owens a Tryout
Terrell Owens's NFL career may not be over just yet.
The Seattle Seahawks are reportedly offering Owens a tryout, as the former Pro Bowl wide out looks to return following a torn knee ligament
The Seahawks are currently thin at wide receiver. Seattle released Antonio Bryant on Sunday and Mike Williams in July. Braylon Edwards signed in July, but after a few lackluster seasons, he may not have a major role in the 2012 season. Sidney Rice remains the team's No. 1 receiver.
Owens hasn't played in the NFL since 2010 when he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns for the Cincinnati Bengals. The 38-year-old didn't get any NFL offers to play the following season after surgery on his left knee.
Owens was active in 2011. He caught 35 passes for 420 yards and 10 touchdowns while playing eight of 11 games for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, but was released in May.
