SeaWorld will end killer whale shows
SeaWorld president and CEO Jim Atchison said Friday that the killer whales shows would resume Saturday.
The announcement comes after Tilikum, a 12,000 pound Orca, killed its trainer while many spectators were watching.
The medical examiner says she likely died of multiple traumatic injuries and drowning.
The parks will not allow trainers in the water with the killer whales at the theme parks in Orlando, San Diego and San Antonio, while it continues to review its protocol for dealing with the animals.
