Selena Gomez Doesn't Think Anybody Cares About Justin Bieber Romance: 'Not Ashamed'

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have rekindled their romance and their relationship is better.

On Thursday, Gomez, 25, was hailed as Billboard's 2017 Woman of the Year. In the red carpet, the "It Ain't Me" singer was asked about Bieber's influence in her life.

"I mean I don't think anybody truly, actually cares," Gomez told Billboard. "I think for me what's been great is that I've been able to live the life that I've wanted for myself. And that doesn't always look the way people maybe think it should look, but it's not really my concern anymore."

The "Kill Em with Kindness" singer added that her family and health is great. Also, she is already in the right age. "I love deeply and I think that's just who I am, so I'm not really ashamed," Gomez said.

Gomez and The Weeknd split in November. However, days before their breakup became official, the "Bad Liar" songstress and the "Sorry" crooner have been spotted spending time together. Sources claimed that the "Starboy" rapper was aware of it and that he was fine with it. However, another insider claimed that The Weeknd was upset that his then-girlfriend spent time with Bieber more frequently.

Following Gomez and The Weeknd's split, many believed that the "Fetish" songstress and the "Baby" singer would eventually reconcile. "She was happy with The Weeknd but Justin always has the biggest piece of her heart. This situation is a heartstring type of thing. She has to figure out what she wants," one insider said.

"[Justin] was always her soulmate and her one true love. Selena and Justin realized it was time to grow past their history and move on. They've grown up a lot in the past couple of years and are mature about the situation," the insider added.

Gomez and Bieber eventually reconciled and their relationship is so much better. On Wednesday evening, the couple was spotted at the church together. Later that night they packed on PDA at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills.

A source told E! News that Justin put his hand on Gomez and gave her a massage. The "Same Old Love" singer responded by giving him a tight hug. They kissed and said goodbye with Gomez smiling and looking happy at what her boyfriend had just told her.
