Selena Gomez once again proved she's not too cool to poke fun at herself.
In a TikTok video posted Thursday, the "Rare" singer, 28, hilariously poked fun at her younger self and some of the comments she made about her hair on a red carpet in 2007. In the clip, she is holding a neon-colored wig while lip-syncing to audio from her previous interview.
"I've got a little blue going on," Gomez said in the original video while talking to a reporter, referencing the streak of blue in her hair.
When asked about the inspiration for the blue hue, Gomez replied, "I don’t know, I like a little edge and a little pop in my hair so I wanted to add something different, especially for the Teen Vogue party."
The singer captioned her new TikTok video, which has since received over 6.4 million likes, "To my younger self: you're not cool bro."
Selenators quickly flocked to Gomez's TikTok video and assured her she was cool even back then.
"Sis trust us you were the coolest," one commented.
don't talk about young Sel like that! she was a trendsetter," wrote another.
"Love youuuuuuu you we're definitely cool lmaooo," a third fan commented.
Wrote another, "you have to be kind to your younger self, she was still learning and under a lot of pressure, and totally awesome."
"I love how u recreated that throwback," another added with a rolling on the floor laughing emoji.
Gomez's old interview initially resurfaced on the social media platform last year. TikTok user @niixholas shared the clip of Gomez discussing her hair color with the caption: "girls getting a new haircut after a mental breakdown."
The singer-actress is not afraid to experiment with her hair. In April, Gomez rocked a new hair color — platinum blonde.
She shared a snap of her look on Rare Beauty's official Instagram account. "New look. Need to pick new Rare Beauty lip and blush shades now," the caption read.
Gomez's hairstyle at the time was the work of her hairstylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri of Nine Zero One Salon, using Joico products, according to Entertainment Tonight. But it was not the first time she went for a blonde look as she also ditched her dark brunette for the 2017 American Music Awards.
