Having appeared as a child in the children's television series "Barney & Friends," and a recurring role on the popular Disney channel series, "Hannah Montana," in 2007, portraying pop star Mikayla, Selena Gomez rose to fame as the leading role in another Disney channel series Wizards of Waverly Place (2007–12).
As for her fashion savvy, it's become so revered that it spawned a blog called Selena's Closet where "Selenators" can find out what she's been wearing of late and where they can find the look for less.
