Selena Gomez Reveals Two Major Changes To Her Mane In Between Her Revival World Tour
Selena Gomez upped her styles stakes in new bangs which her hair stylist showed off on Instagram Wednesday. The 23-year-old Pantene brand ambassador revealed two major hair changes including her earlier golden hair color and also her new fringes. The “Hands to Myself” singer is currently enjoying some downtime in between her Revival world tour.
Selena has swapped her signature hairstyle with her long, luscious locks for new bangs, which are in fact not clip-ons. The singer’s hairstylist Marissa Marino from Nine Zero One Salon is responsible for the new look. “Yes the bangs are 100% real. Marissa and Selena really wanted to switch it up and give her a fun edgier look for summer!” said an agent of the celeb hairstylist, in an email to Cosmopolitan.
Nine Zero One took to its official Instagram and shared Selena’s picture with their 194k followers. Marissa has been creating the singer’s hairstyles throughout her world tour. She shared a gorgeous selfie of the star showing off her new “do” on Wednesday.
In the new close-up selfie, Selena smolders in a cream knitted top with high neck and short sleeves. She looks casual chic in the picture as she rocks black winged eyeliner and nude lipstick. The “Same Old Love” hitmaker also debuted a new color, choosing lighter brown hues with hints of blonde for a summery makeover.
Besides, this is not the first time that Selena has experimented with the color of her tresses, while on her world tour. She recently gave fans major hair envy when she unveiled a fiery auburn shade, but a few weeks later she went back to brunette. However, the hair color was a shade lighter than her trademark dark chocolate brown tresses.
In an interview with Allure in May, Selena revealed the trick to her glossy-looking hair. She also thanked her mom and dad for her natural thick texture of her hair. “I don’t wash my hair every day, which may sound gross, but it’s actually really bad for my hair,” she said.
