Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 premiere
“Grey’s Anatomy” is one of many fan favorite TV shows premiering in September. ABC

You can’t say there’s nothing on TV in September. With over 90 new seasons and series starting, there is a premiere almost every night in September, and fall TV has something for everyone.

Longtime fan favorites like “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Blue Bloods” will return, as will last year’s tearjerker “This is Us.” However, those looking for a new juicy drama might want to try “Riviera” on SundanceNow. The drama follow Georgina (Julia Stiles), a woman whose life is turned upside down after her billionaire husband dies and she start to unravel his web of lies. The new series premieres Sept. 14.

Comedy fans have plenty of choices in September too. Of course, standards like “The Big Bang Theory,” “Modern Family” and “Broad City” will be back, but several new comedies will join the fall TV lineup. “The Orville,” created by Seth MacFarlane, is a fun “Star Trek” parody that follows a man who gets to command his own ship but must figure out how to work with his ex-wife. It starts Sept. 10 on Fox. Meanwhile, “Big Bang Theory” fans will want to watch CBS’ prequel series “Young Sheldon” on Sept. 25.

Reality fans have many premieres to look forward to as well. In addition to “Survivor,” “Below Deck,” “Total Bellas” and more returning, there will be some new additions this fall. “American Beauty Star” is Lifetime’s latest reality show, premiering Sept. 21. Adrianna Lima will host the competition series that pits celebrity stylists against each other. However, fashion lovers who focus on footwear may want to watch “Lace Up: The Ultimate Sneaker Challenge,” YouTube Red’s new sneaker design competition, premiering Sept. 13.
