Sergey Brin’s net worth is close to $60 billion but only receives $1 per year salary from Google. As he leaves Google and Alphabet, where is his next destination?

On December 2019, Brin will leave his post at Alphabet. Fellow Google founder Larry Page will also do the same and put the entire company in the hands of Sundar Pichai. Brin and Page feel that now is the perfect time to move on, but they will stay as board members and stakeholders of the company they founded.

Google will join other Silicon Valley corporations without a founder such as Oracle, Uber Technologies and We Company, according to a report from the Financial Post.

Outside his Alphabet post, Brin lives in a posh location in New York City and is neighbors with Tiger Woods and Sarah Jessica Parker. Moreover, he bought a 3,457-square-foot penthouse for a cool $8.5 million more than a decade ago. The penthouse offers a view of lower Manhattan and its kitchen is customized with Morrocan tiles.

Like Page, Brin also travels in style. He acquired a 73-meter superyacht named Dragonfly. The 46-year-old multi-billionaire bought Dragonfly for $80 million and it features a cinema, jacuzzi and dance floor. Brin also co-owns a Boeing 767-200 and a private airport near San Jose airport. He bought the passenger jet and airport with Page in 2005 and 2014, respectively.

The search engine founder is a fan of adrenaline-rush activities. He had been photographed enjoying roller hockey, skydiving, frisbee and high-flying trapeze, Business Insider reports. Together with Page, the two are regulars at Burning Man festival, often wearing spandex suits to hide their identities.

When it comes to land travel, Brin fancies Tesla. He is reportedly the fourth person to own a Tesla Model X when it was launched in 2015. Today, the car costs at least $151,000.

Despite his massive success, Brin does not forget to give back. He has given away $37.5 billion from his own pocket to help different charities since 2000. Right now, Brin focuses on his next project after Google. He is reportedly building an airship at NASA facility in Mountain View, California. Once completed, it will be utilized to distribute relief goods in critical areas and humanitarian missions.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the Russian born tech wizard was married to 23andMe founder Anne Wojcicki from 2007 to 2015. They have two children named Benji Wojin and Chloe Wojin. In 2018, Brin married Nicole Shanahan and the two have a child together.
