Kim Cattrall paid tribute to her late brother for what would have been his 59th birthday and called for suicide prevention.

The "Sex and the City" star shared a throwback photo featuring her brother, Chris, on Twitter. She accompanied it with a short but sweet caption while remembering her sibling.

"Today would have been my baby brother Chris's 59th b'day. Happy Birthday, sweet 'Topher'. We miss you today and everyday. RIPx #SuicidePrevention," she wrote Sunday.

In 2018, Chris went missing in Lacombe, Alberta, in Canada. Cattrall enlisted her fans' help to find her brother.

"This is not like Chris," Cattrall wrote on Instagram at the time after finding out that his keys, cell phone and wallet were all left on the table of his home. "He would never leave his unlocked home without those items nor his 7 beloved dogs," she added.

According to Kim, Chris was a "one of a kind brother." So, she urged the netizens to "help us bring him home safe. Please spread the word. Many thanks for reading this."

On the same day, just hours after Cattrall asked her fans for help to find her brother, she shared an update confirming that Chris had already passed away.

"It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall," she wrote. "At this time we ask for privacy. We want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time."

Chris reportedly died of suicide. In 2019, the "Star Trek" actress opened up about her brother's death and what she learned from it.

"I think recently the thing that has taught me the most is loss," she told the reporters at Fox’s TCA day while promoting her show "Filthy Rich," as per People. "I’ve lost two family members and I think what it teaches me, I’m not there yet, but to really enjoy what you do, your family, your friends, to really appreciate…when I say goodbye to somebody I’m not going to see for a while."

She continued, "The thought is now I might not see them again for a couple of months but I want to keep those connections. I feel I value them much more, they take up more of how I want to spend my time because I realize how precious it is."
