“Sex and the City” star Kristin Davis has adopted a newly born baby girl, reported People magazine.

Davis is extremely delighted to be a new mom. Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed, she told the magazine.

Davis, 46, adopted Gemma Rose Davis through domestic adoption and is very excited to fulfill the new responsibilities on a personal front in life.

This happiness is nothing less than a blessing for the new mom, for whom it was a long-awaited moment. This is something I have wanted for a very long time, said Davis.
