‘Shades Of Blue’ Season 2: Will Wozniak’s Son Nate Be Killed Off In Episode 9?

Wozniak’s (Ray Liotta) son, Nate (Cameron Scoggins), will be in great danger in “Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 9.

In “Chaos Is Come Again,” the lives of those closest to Wozniak and Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) will be at risk. In the previous episode, Nate spoke with Loman (Dayo Okeniyi) about the former’s dad and what he is like as a boss. At the time, Loman was upset with Wozniak for lying, so he insulted him. In episode 9, Loman will ask Nate for the tape he used to record their conversation. Unfortunately, the latter will no longer be able to give it back to him.

The promo released by NBC for “Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 9 shows Wozniak and Harlee’s team gathered together in the kitchen area. By the looks of it, they are having a discussion about the people who are trying to target them. During their conversation, someone shoots towards their direction. Each member of the team pulls out their gun and fires back. Harlee makes a phone call to inform the other officers that one of them is down. The identity of the officer is not shown in the teaser. However, a photo from the network shows Nate lying on Harlee’s lap with blood all over his body.

Elsewhere in the episode, Harlee also becomes concerned over her daughter Cristina’s (Sarah Jeffery) closeness to Stahl (Warren Kole). Previously, Stahl promised to help Cristina find her dad, Miguel (Antonio Jaramillo). However, Stahl’s intentions aren’t exactly good. He just wants to help Cristina, so he could gain access to Harlee.

In the clip, Harlee tells Wozniak that everyone close to her has already been harmed. She’s worried that Cristina will be next. Harlee’s best friend was already killed by Stahl after Harlee refused to cooperate with him. Now, Stahl is targeting Cristina and is using the latter’s desire to be with her dad against her. On top of this, Harlee will also find out that Stahl has been sending Cristina text messages pretending to be Miguel. This enrages Harlee because she knows for a fact that Miguel is already dead. She just didn’t tell Cristina the truth for fear that she will get mad at her.

Also in “Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 9, Wozniak and Loman will share at least one scene together. Wozniak’s case of a missing kid will lead him to uncovering a local dealer who uses underage mules. Wozniak will seek Loman’s help, and the latter realizes what their team is actually capable of. Despite their recent struggles, Loman remembers how strong their team is and how he should stick with them no matter what.

Meanwhile, “Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 9 will feature the return of Dov Davidoff as Internal Affairs Detective Verco. Other guest stars include Michael Laurence as Curtis Deville and Leslie Silva as Gail Baker.
