‘Shadowhunters’ Season 2 Spoilers: Clary, Jace Get Back Together Amid Rumors He Will End Up Alone?

“Shadowhunters” Season 2, episode 16 will feature a Clary (Katherine McNamara)-Jace (Dominic Sherwood) reunion.

In the previous episodes, Clary decided to end her relationship with Jace. But the two of them shared a kiss in episode 14. A confused Jace wondered if there’s hope of him reuniting with Clary, but the latter quickly shut this down by telling him that the kiss didn’t mean anything to her.

But according to Entertainment Weekly, Clary will contemplate on her real feelings for her ex-boyfriend in episode 16. In the installment, the two will set out on an unsanctioned mission and would have to rely on each other to complete it. But Clary’s discovery towards the end of the installment will change everything for the lead character.

“The next episode is filled with big moments for Clary, who heads out on a mission with Jace – and when she believes he’s in danger, she gets a little bit closer to figuring out how she feels about her ex. But the biggest realization comes at the end of the hour, when Clary figures something out that changes, well, everything for her,” read the teaser.

Earlier this month, Sherwood spoke with TV Line about his character’s future in the love department. According to the actor, he has learned that things will get worse for Jace first before they get better. “What’s he doing wrong? Isn’t he a nice guy? Apparently no one wants to be with Jace. It’s terrible,” he said.

Sherwood also explained that he had conversations with the writers of “Shadowhunters” and was told that things will pick up for the character towards the end of Season 2. But they have already completed shooting the rest of the season and things did not get better for Jace. “We’ve spoken briefly about what’s coming in Season 3, and it doesn’t get better. So I ask them, ‘When is there a light at the end of the tunnel for Jace?’ and they’re like, ‘We don’t know.’ It just keeps getting worse,” he said.
