“Shadowhunters” Season 3 continues with episode 12, titled “Original Sin,” on Monday, and it’s going to show a lot of the characters either trying to make the best of the lives they have or trying their best to make their lives better.

Freeform might’ve canceled the show, but it’s not over just yet. There’s still a lot of drama, heartache, love and action left to see, and Monday’s episode will be a prime example of all of that.

According to the synopsis, “Simon [Alberto Rosende] is determined to get rid of the Mark of Cain and, with Isabelle’s [Emeraude Toubia] help, tries to track down New York’s oldest vampire to get more information on the mark.

“Now in Paris, Clary [Katherine McNamara] desperately tries to find an escape from her current situation. Meanwhile, with his new sense of mortality, Magnus [Harry Shum Jr.] tries to live life to the very fullest.”

While the “Shadowhunters” synopsis doesn’t share what Jace (Dominic Sherwood) is up to, the trailer shows him searching for Clary. “I was so close to giving up,” he says in the promo. “She needs us.”

Fans don’t see them reconnect in the clip, but episode photos show a romantic and emotional Clary and Jace reunion happening in front of the Eiffel Tower. Although, it all might be tricks and illusions, as photos show her with Jonathan (Luke Baines) in the same spot and the same outfits, with Jace nowhere in sight. Photos show that happening in other locations, too.

If you thought episode 11 — the Season 3B premiere — was “fantastic,” then get ready to feel that way again because McNamara told International Business Times that she’d use that word to describe Season 3, episode 12, as well.
