Shailene Woodley, Aaron Rodgers Joins List Of 4 Other Surprise Celebrity Engagements

Quarantine has meant many different things to different people including finding a new hobby, learning how to work from home, or figuring out how to socialize distantly. For actress Shailene Woodley and NFL star Aaron Rodgers, it meant surprising everyone with an engagement.

The two kept their relationship under tight wraps until Rodgers announced his engagement to a secret woman at the 10th Annual NFL Honors on Feb. 6 while accepting his MVP trophy.

Woodley finally confirmed their engagement during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night.

"For us, it's not new news, you know? So it's kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while,'" she explained on the talk show.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin

This couple’s relationship timeline is a bit of a rollercoaster. The two dated briefly in 2016 before Bieber and fellow artist Selena Gomez had their last try at a relationship. After that relationship ended, Bieber got back with Baldwin in May 2018 and they announced their engagement just two months later, Brides reported. The singer and model have been married since October 2018.

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande

Musical performers Ariana and Mac Miller split in May 2018 after two years of dating. Grande and Davidson, an "SNL" star, were spotted together not too long after that, and after 24 days of dating, they shared that they were engaged, Marie Claire reported. Less than five months later, they announced that they would be parting ways.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra

The Jonas Brothers heartthrob was taken off the market by actress Priyanka Chopra in May 2018. Just two months later, the couple announced their engagement, which happened to take place on Chopra’s 36th birthday, according to People. They got married in India in December 2018 and have been going strong ever since.
