‘Shameless’ Season 5 Spoilers: New Cast Member Added; Meet Fiona’s Potential Boyfriend And Jimmy's Competition

We’re not the only ones who are looking forward to Season 5 of “Shameless,” right? Ever since the Showtime drama aired its jaw-dropping Season 4 finale in April, fans of the Paul Abbott drama have been scouring the web for clues as to what to expect in the upcoming season. And while the next-season scoop seems to be pretty scant, we managed to rustle up some pretty exciting news for your shameless consumption.

Get this, the Showtime series will be welcoming a new character come Season 5 – and yes, of course he’ll be bringing trouble with him! Deadline reported that Steve Kazee, whom you might know from the Tony Award-winning Broadway production “Once,” will be gracing the Gallagher family with his musical presence when he serenades his way onto the small screen.

He’ll be playing the role of a tall, dark and handsome rock musician who just happens to bump into Fiona and her family at the diner she’s recently found employment in. Seriously, the girl is off the market for just a few days and she already has a line of men at her beckoning call!

Kazee will be fighting for Fiona’s heart along with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who will be reportedly playing the role as Charlie, the manager of said diner Fiona is working at – and we all know how well things worked out for Fiona last time when she locked lips with a superior. Better think twice, Fi!

Last but not least, Justin Chatwin’s character will be playing a vital role in Season 5. Yes, Jimmy’s back – or should we say Jack because that’s what Fiona’s ex-lover is calling himself now-a-days. Will Jimmy find a way to slither his way back into Fiona’s heart or has their romance officially fizzled?
