Looks like their might be a father/daughter dance at Fiona’s (Emmy Rossum) wedding reception after all. The Season 6 synopsis for upcoming installment of Showtime’s hit drama “Shameless” reveals Frank (William H. Macy) will make the grand gesture to pay for Fi and Sean’s (Dermot Mulroney) big day — after all, the marriage of his eldest daughter is a notable event, according to the Gallagher patriarch, and a celebration that should spare no expense.

But where exactly is Frank going to come up with the cash to throw Fiona a white wedding? Well, the trailer for episode 11, titled “Sleep No More,” reveals the Frank will spend the upcoming days scamming the neighborhood while using sweet, little Liam (Brenden Sims) as bait for bash money.

Fiona doesn’t understand Frank’s offer or why he’s currently interested in her happiness. But Frank admits that he’s “tired of missing stuff,” like “the infant Deb (Emma Kenny) squirted out” on his kitchen table. (Thanks for the visual there, Frank.)

Fi is taken aback by Frank’s admission. Could he finally be turning over a new leaf? While Fiona may be buying into Frank’s heartbroken tale, Sean can’t help but question his soon-to-be father-in-law’s motives. (There has got to be another reason Frank wants to financially cover the reception, right?)

Fiona’s fiancé, who is well aware of Frank’s antics, will confront Fiona's father in the upcoming installment to reveal his concerns about the emotional well-being of his soon-to-be bride. But, according to the promo video for episode 11, Sean’s inquiring will only provoke Frank, leading up to a nasty brawl between the two.

“Shameless” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
