‘Shameless’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 6 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘NSFW’? [VIDEO]
Lip (Jeremy Allen White) is in love and he doesn’t care who knows! During episode 6 of Showtime’s hit series “Shameless,” the college student will let his true feelings for Helene (Sasha Alexander) be known when the two appear before a faculty disciplinary committee to discuss the repercussions of their controversial relationship.
“Sleeping with students reflects poor judgment on my part,” Helene tells the board in a sneak-peek video for episode 6, titled"NSFW," taking full responsibility for the scandal. (In episode 5, Lip’s scorned ex, Amanda [Nichole Bloom], released a naked photo that Lip took of the professor, unbeknownst to her, following one of their nights spent together.)
After Helene accepts all the blame for the incident, the board then requests that in addition to banning contact with Lip and taking a probationary leave from the university, she also seek therapy. That’s when Lip loses it:
“It’s not a crime to want to f—k,” Lip rebuttals. “What happened between Helene and me wasn’t wrong and I don’t need to cope with it — we’re in love.”
While Lip’s relationship with Helene crumbles, Ian’s romance with sexy fireman Caleb (Jeff Pierre) heats up. According to the summary, Ian and Caleb will get more serious in episode 6. Meanwhile, Deb (Emma Kenney) will find out the gender of her baby during the forthcoming installment. But it appears Fiona (Emmy Rossum) may be too busy trying to get her home back to attend Deb's baby bash.
According to the trailer for episode 6, Gus (Steve Kazee) agrees to help his ex by signing some papers that could help Fi get her home back. But there’s a catch … he’ll only meet up with Fiona between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.
“Three hours?” she screams to her beau/roomie Sean (Dermot Mulroney) while looking at the infuriating text. “He’s just f—king with me!”
Fans will get to watch Fiona reunite with her angry ex on Sunday, Feb. 14, at 9 p.m. EST when “Shameless” airs Season 6, episode 6 on Showtime.
