Fiona is committed to her new business venture and all of the problems that come along with it. Season 7, episode 8 of Showtime’s “Shameless” will center around her attempts to bring Etta’s decrepit laundromat into the 21st century.

According to a synopsis for the episode, Fiona (Emmy Rossum) will take a new approach to fixing the place up. Rather than pay tons of money to outsiders, she’ll user her Gallagher ingenuity and source labor from friends and family members. While she and the gang are ready and willing to put in the work, the magnitude of her problems, as well as outside intervention from Frank (William H. Macy), may throw a wrench in her plans.

Photos for the episode — titled “You Sold Me The Laundromat, Remember?” — show the Gallagher patriarch arriving at Fiona’s new business, seemingly wowing Etta (June Squibb) with his charm. Will he attempt to derail his daughter’s plans?

While Fiona focuses on her work, the rest of the Gallagher clan — and those close to them — are dealing with drama of their own. Lip (Jeremy Allen White) will finally agree to stand before the school board, hoping to be considered for readmission after his expulsion. He’ll also grapple with issues stemming from his new relationship. Photos show Lip attacking Sierra’s (Ruby Modine) baby daddy in the street, likely as a result of his antics in Season 7, episode 7 of “Shameless.”

Episode 9 will also revisit viewers’ favorite throuple, who are experiencing some trouble in paradise after learning that Svetlana (Isidora Goreshter) has been married to another man this whole time. Kev (Steve Howey) and V (Shanola Hampton) already don’t trust her, and that trust will wain further during Sunday’s show. Kev will apparently question his second wife when their topless maid service van goes missing.
