Marc Anthony has a new woman in his life and former flame J-Lo has been left in the dust. Shannon De Lima, 24, and international pop star Anthony went public with their relationship on Twitter this weekend.

The 43-year-old singer sent a tweet to Venezulan model Shannon De Lima, 24, which translates roughly in English as, To Shannon, my status of liberty. Kisses baby! Anthony also posted a picture of the pair on Facebook.

The couple's romance was also featured prominently on Twitter as the stars retweeted congratulatory messages from others. Anthony's son Chase, who he adopted with Debbie Rosago, tweeted: To all my followers and all Twitter peeps, follow the best couple of 2012 and for many for years Mac Anthony and Shannon De Lima!

The beautiful De Lima was the former Miss Earth Venezuela 2005 runner up, losing to Alexandra Braun. Following her stunt in the Miss Earth competition, the Venezuelan model was a walk-on for the Caracas Fashion Beach 2006 auditions. Hola.com reports that De Lima has a son, age 4, from a previous marriage.

Anthony split with his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, last summer. Lopez has been seen since then with dancer Casper Smart, 24, and was also briefly linked to Bradley Cooper.

I think anybody will tell you how I supported her, from day one. I'm really, really happy for her. ... We're going to be in each other's lives for many, many, many years, and I'm glad that our friendship is that strong. ... What would make it difficult is if we didn't get along, Anthony said in an interview with Good Morning America in September of last year.
