‘Sharknado 3' Spoilers: New Celebrities Added To Syfy Cast; Who Will Have Cameo Roles In 2015 Film?
We’re definitely going to need a bigger boat. This summer “Sharknado” will be returning to Syfy with yet another installment of the satirical disaster film, which is set to premiere in July 2015. And from what we’ve heard thus far about the forthcoming shark-infested drama, fans will definitely want to sink their teeth into the third chapter of the fin-based phenomena.
Besides being known for its outlandish plot, “Sharknado” has also become famous for its celebrity cameos. Stars like Kelly Osbourne, Kelly Ripa, Al Roker and even Billy Ray Cyrus have managed to sneak their way into the bloody hilarious plot of the supernatural film. But according to reports, a whole new slew of celebs will be cast in the upcoming flick.
TVLine reported that business man Mark Cuban, who ironically stars in the ABC reality series “Shark Tank,” and the conservative political commentator and lawyer Ann Coulter would both be joining the upcoming Syfy saga as President and Vice President of the United States of America. But they won’t be the only familiar faces to grace the third installment of “Sharknado.”
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Bo Derek has been confirmed to portray April’s (Tara Reid) mother May. Talk show host Jerry Springer will take on the role of a tourist named Mr. White, Chris Jericho is set to operate a roller coaster as Bruce, an amusement park worker, and Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC will try to keep the kids safe as takes on the role of a pool life guard. (Is it just us, or do you think the former boy-band member has a slim chance of surviving, too?)
Audiences can also expect “Sharknado” alums like Ian Ziering, who stars as Fin, Reid and Cassie Scerbo, who plays Nova, to reprise their roles in the freaky science-fiction film that is set to take place in Washington D.C. and Florida, Deadline reported.
