Kim Kardashian came under fire this week by Sharon Osbourne, who claimed that the reality star exploits feminism to further her own personal agenda. The 64-year-old co-host of “The Talk,” who as recently as last year came out in support of Kardashian, called the reality star a “ho” in a new interview.

“Kim says she's doing everything in the name of feminism, but that's not feminism!” the television personality said in an interview with the Daily Telegraph published Saturday. “Those girls live off their bodies, half of LA has been through them and everything they do from the sex tape to the plastic see-through dresses and the gym wear is about sex, not female progress. And listen: God bless them.”

She added, “If Kim wants to show off her body, fine. But that's not feminism, that's being a ho. And there's nothing wrong with being a ho, but always remember what you are.”

The 36-year-old founder of KKW Beauty recently clarified her feminist identity in her cover story for Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.

“I said once before that I’m not really a feminist,” she said. “But I feel I do a lot more than people that claim that they’re feminist.”

She added: “To clarify what I said before: I feel in my soul I’m a feminist. I just don’t need labels to make me feel or know what I am inside.”

Kardashian has been a vocal proponent of body positivity and even published a book of selfies in 2015 titled “Selfish.” In it — as well as on her social media accounts — the star shared many of her own nude photographs. She’s also posed for several nude photoshoots seen in magazines that include W, GQ and Paper.

Last year, Kardashian posted a controversial nude bathroom selfie on Instagram that highlighted her curves and left little to the imagination. The post, shared in March, was “liked” nearly 2 million times to date.

Interestingly, Osbourne was among the famous personalities who defended Kardashian’s decision to post the photo and followed suit with a similar nude bathroom snap.

“@kimkardashian you inspired me!” the television personality captioned the nude photo at the time. It was favorited and retweeted tens of thousands of times by Osbourne’s 2 million Twitter followers.

Kardashian faced backlash for the nude selfie by body-shamers and others who claimed the photo perpetuated a culture of objectification of the female body. The reality star later addressed the controversy in a heartfelt post on her website.

“I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me,” Kardashian wrote on her blog at the time. “And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world.”
